The Dexter Russell 30401 iCut-PRO® butcher steel is designed to realign the microscopic segments of a blade by standing the dulled, rolled-over edge up instead of the actual sharp edge. Using this method extends the time between required knife sharpening. This honing steel has a 10-inch-long rod and a comfortable Santoprene® handle, and for a safe, secure grip, this handle material is nonslip.
